The Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) Foundation is preparing for its annual Mustang Scramble golf tournament and fundraiser to be held on September 8.
The event will be held at the Goose Pond Plantation Golf Course in Scottsboro with tee times at 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided for the participants.
“Our Foundation is such an asset to the college and our students,” said NACC President Dr. David Campbell. “The golf tournament is one of the many ways the Foundation raises money for scholarships. Foundation Director Heather Rice and assistant Rachael Graham direct the tournament with volunteer help from many of our staff and Presidential hosts.
To register to golf in the event, contact Heather Rice by calling 256-228-6001 ext. 2301
Dr. Campbell said, “You golfers out there, we would love for you to participate in a day of fun and for a good cause.”
The NACC Foundation is excited about this year’s Mustang Scramble Give-a-way which will consist of two BruMate brand coolers. A donation of $10 will earn one ticket and a donation of $40 will earn five tickets.
Contact Rachael Graham by calling 256-228-6001 ext. 2391 to purchase tickets. The winner will be announced on September 8 at the event; however, you do not have to be present to win.
The funds raised by the event will be used for scholarships and to further NACC’s mission.
