Battle of the Cats

OXFORD, Ala. — The Scottsboro Wildcats fell to the Oxford Wildcats, 42-14 in Class 6A Region 7 action on Friday night.  

Oxford scored 5 unanswered touchdowns in the first half, taking the 42-0 lead into the half.

Jacob Manning scored two touchdowns for Scottsboro in the second half, one from 29 yards out and the other from 2-yards out.  

Manning led the Scottsboro Wildcats with 114 yards on 28 carries.  

Scottsboro will host the Arab Knights in region play on Friday night.
