City of Scottsboro Declares State of Emergency

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. — In a special called meeting this afternoon, at City Hall, the Scottsboro City Council declared a state of emergency for Scottsboro.

This order gives the mayor the authority to make some decisions about spending and other situations that he would normally have to wait for council approval.
