Deadly Shooting in Scottsboro

SCOTTSBORO, Ala.– Jerry Carl Fricks, 25, of Flat Rock is in jail after a deadly shooting, off Veterans Drive,  in Scottsboro, Friday night. 

Scottsboro Police found 33-year-old Aaron Morris Nix of Stevenson, dead at the scene. It is unclear at this time, what lead up to the shooting. 

Officers arrested Fricks and charged him with murder.  He is currently in the Jackson County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
