PISGAH, Ala. — The Falkville Blue Devils ruined the Pisgah Eagles Homecoming, defeating the Eagles, 53-14 on Friday night.
Falkville jumped to the early lead, with 27 unanswered points on the board. With :43 remaining in the first half, Pisgah scored on a 5-yard pass connection from Mason Holcomb to Parker Law. The extra point attempt by John Burke made the score 27-7. With only seconds remaining in the first half, the Devils tacked on a field goal, to take the 30-7 lead into the half.
The Blue Devils scored twice in the third quarter to make the score 50-7.
With 6:52 remaining in the game, the Blue Devils added a field goal to their total, making the score 53-7. After an 11-play drive, Law brought it in for the Eagles from 18-yards out to make the final, 53-14.
Holcomb completed 8-of-14 passes for 53 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for 48 yards. Law scored both touchdowns.
Pisgah will travel to take on Whitesburg Christian Academy on Friday night.
