GADSDEN, Ala. — The Woodville Panthers defeated the Coosa Christian 46-38  in Class 1A, Region 7 play, and gave Coach Tyler Vann his first win as Woodville Head Coach. 

The Panthers had 457 total yards.  Quarterback Jackson Peek rushed for 213 yards and passed for 150 yards.  Peek plays on both sides of the ball, having five tackles and an interception.  Josh Thompson rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown.  

Woodville will travel to take on region foe, the Valley Head Tigers on Friday night.
