Pisgah Man Charged with Robbery

PISGAH, Ala.–A Jackson County man is in jail, after breaking into a home and dragging a man outside. 

On Tuesday, January 24, Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a robbery call on County Road 778, in Pisgah.  Deputies were told a suspect forced his way into a home, assaulted a 65-year-old male victim and dragged him outside. 

Deputies were told the suspect took the victim’s wallet, fire department radio, and other personal items.  They were also informed that the suspect had a gun and that he allegedly fired “at or near the victim.”

Jimmy Peek Jr, 49, of Pisgah was identified and charged with robbery. He was held in the Jackson County Jail, on a $100,000 bond.
