SCOTTSBORO, Ala. — The Scottsboro Rescue Squad will host its 10th annual bass tournament on Saturday, May 15 at Goose Pond Colony.
Over $10,000 in cash will be given out to the many winners at the tournament, with a top prize of $2,000.
The entry fee is $140 per boat on the day of the tournament, and $120 if received by May 14.
The Scottsboro-Jackson County Rescue Squad was first organized in 1960. The volunteer organization currently has 36 members serving one of the State of Alabama’s biggest counties, and they are a member of the Alabama Association of Rescue Squads.
