Arbor Day Seedling Giveaway at Scottsboro

SCOTTSBORO, Ala.– The Scottsboro Tree Commission will have its Alabama Arbor Day tree seedling giveaway on Saturday, February 25th at the Veterans Fairgrounds on Cecil Street in Scottsboro from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Seedlings available will be Yellow Poplar, Southern Wax Myrtle, Sawtooth Oak, Allegheny Chinkapin, Cornus Florida Dogwood, Cornus Kousa Dogwood, Red Maple, Serviceberries, and Yoshino Cherry cuttings. The Jackson County Master Gardeners, Jackson County Foresters, and Smokey will be assisting. 

Come by, pick up some seedlings, and help grow a greener world.
