Blue Devils Shutout the Lions

SECTION, Ala. — The Falkville Blue Devils shutout the Section Lions 53-0 in Class 2A Region 7 play on Friday night. 

The No.9 ranked Falkville Blue Devils scored on their first five possessions. Less than four minutes into the game, Falkville scored on a 1-yard touchdown. Six minutes later, they scored on a 23-yard run. The Blue Devils went into the half with the 26-0 advantage, after touchdowns from 50 and 34 yards. 

In the third quarter, Falkville took the 32-0 lead, scoring on a 23-yard touchdown. Late in the third quarter, the Blue Devils scored on a 34-yard run to take the 39-0 lead.  

The Blue Devils scored two additional touchdowns in the fourth quarter to make the final score of the night, 53-0.

Section will have a region matchup on Friday as they host Whitesburg Christian for Homecoming.
