Bystander Shot at Stevenson Grocery Store

Stevenson, Ala.– A innocent bystander was shot outside Bruce’s Foodland in Stevenson on Sunday night.  His attacker is in the Jackson County Jail facing four criminal charges, without bond. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s office stated that the shooter pulled a gun and opened fire, after making contact with his former girlfriend. 

Channing Mitchell is charged with two counts of attempted murder, shooting into an occupied building, and shooting into an unoccupied building.
