High Country Toyota to Hold Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Dealership

Scottsboro, FL – High Country Toyota in Scottsboro, AL, will hold a groundbreaking ceremony at the site of its new dealership on Thursday, Nov. 18th; this event will have Two-time slots, an RSVP only at 10:15, and an open to the Public time slot of 11:15! This exciting event will kick off the construction of a new, state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar facility that will enable the dealership to take customer service to a whole new level.

Highlights of this groundbreaking ceremony will include appearances by Toyota executives and local community leaders. WWIC Owner Greg Bell and GM of High Country Toyota, Alan Cox, will emcee the event, with a building overview by the President of ID Automotive, Michael Kubinski.

Speaking at the event will be Mayor Jim McCamy, Senator Steve Livingston, Scottsboro Fire Chief Gene Necklaus, Jackson County Commission Chairman Bill Nance, Jackson County Chamber President Rick Roden, Southeast Toyota President Brent Sergot, and Steve Ayers, owner of High Country Automotive.

Once complete, the 27,579square-foot building will house 14 service bays and numerous amenities to keep shoppers and customers satisfied while they visit the dealership. Those amenities will include an outdoor firepit and TV, an indoor double-sided fireplace in the customer lounge, and a café serving select breakfast, lunch, and snack items throughout the day.

“This is an exciting time for High Country Toyota, Scottsboro, and Jackson County! We have the honor of being the Pilot store for two amazing platforms that put the customer first! As we begin our Brand-New Online Purchase Program combined with the continued perfection of our High Country Toyota Free Pickup and Delivery Program, it makes it an amazing time to move into a building that allows us to keep pushing our customer experience to the next level,” he said.

For owner Steve Ayers, a new facility means the chance to give back to the community as the dealership grows. “A larger building means we have more room to hire more employees,” he said. “That means giving job opportunities to more people in our area and helping our community grow.”
