SCOTTSBORO, Ala.– In 2019, Jeremiah Adam Nix was arrested, after his wife, Candus Bowes was shot and killed during a domestic argument. The incident occurred at their residence in Hollywood.
On the third day of the jury trial, Nix changed his plea and pleaded guilty to murder. He received a 60-year sentence and will be eligible for parole in fifteen years.
