PISGAH, Ala.– The Pisgah Eagles defeated the Tanner Rattlers 14-13 to claim the Class 2A Region 7 Championship. The last time the Eagles won a Region Championship was in 2003.

McCrary stampeded down the field for 24-yards for the Eagle touchdown, giving Pisgah the 6-0 advantage. With less than 8:00 remaining in the third quarter, Tanner went ahead 7-6 on a 10-yard sprint into the endzone.
With less than 5:00 remaining in the game, Mason Holcomb connected with a 46-yard pass to Jake Hendricks for the touchdown. Parker Law brought in the two-point conversion to take the 14-7 lead over Tanner. Tanner marched down the field on a 60-yard scoring run from 6-yards out, making the score 14-13 with seconds left in the game. The Rattlers went for two but were denied by the Pisgah defense.
