7/19/2021- The future site of the Shops of Scottsboro is located on the Northwest corner of
Highway 72 and Highway 35 were purchased by White Development Company, with financing
provided by Iberia Bank / First Horizon arranged by MTZ Capital Corporation. On this 17-acre
property, a 46,000 square-foot Publix will anchor the Development along with an additional
30,000 square feet of retail space for other tenants. The project includes four outparcels, two of
which are under contract to Tidal Wave Car Wash and a National Bank.
White Development Company is developing the land with support from the City of Scottsboro.
