Escaped Murderer Back in Custody

JACKSON COUNTY, Ala. — Last night, convicted killer Daniel Miner was captured by authorities after escaping from a work release assignment on Monday.

He was recaptured on Thursday night around 7 pm after a standoff with law enforcement.

Miner is serving a life sentence on murder charges for his role in the shooting death of Edward Lee Williams during a 1993 robbery in Marshall County.
